Date of Placement: Sep 21 2009Kim School District R-88 plan to install the AED in their school building. They are a K-12 school district, thus they serve a variety of age groups. Being a small school, their students participate in a number of extra-curricular activities, academically, vocationally and sports of all levels.
Given the geography of the school, an AED is a must-have life saving device for Kim School District: “We would like to implement the AED into our school system because we are located in a rural area. We live 65 miles from the nearest hospital, and we feel this would increase someone’s chances of survival should something ever happen”.
Kick Start My Heart received the $500 "Pay It Forward" donation from Kim School District in September 2008 and after waiting for school to start again over the summer, we were proud to implement an AED in their facility in September 2009!
