Horizons K-8 School, Boulder CO
Date of Placement: Aug 12 2008The administration at Horizons K-8 School applied for an AED placement to increase school safety in response to a heart emergency. After receiving CPR training with HeartSmart, the AED was a natural addition to the facility which serves over 300 students, in addition to parents and grandparents onsite continually for school events.
Kick Start My Heart received the $500 "Pay It Forward" donation from Horizons in January 2008 and we have our training and implementation session scheduled for August! The AED unit being placed in this facility was donated personally by Kick Start My Heart partner, Richard Perse and HeartSmart!
