Date of Placement: Oct 08 2009Heritage Elementary School has applied for an AED to serve the needs of students, staff and extra-curricular activities. The age group of the school community includes children 5-12, plus staff, plus extra-curricular activities which range from age 6 to seniors.
The school currently has two students with known heart conditions, so Heritage aim to be proactive and implement the AED before a tragic event occurs. Any of the students, staff or visitors could be saved through the use of this AED.
Kick Start My Heart received the $750 "Pay It Forward" donation from Heritage Elementary School in February 2009 and we implemented an AED in this facility in October 2009! The placement was facilitated by an AED donation from HeartSmart/Richard Perse in support of the Kick Start My Heart 2009 fund raising event! Thank you!!
