Hemphill Middle School, Strasburg CO

Hemphill Middle School will use the AED to protect participants and attendees of middle school classes, sporting events, concerts, athletic practices, and district events such as adult sports, peewee sports, and church services. Staff at the school feels that an AED would be very beneficial to their small rural school and community, potentially bridging the gap between incident and emergency response times from the volunteer services in the community.

Kick Start My Heart received the $750 "Pay It Forward" donation from Hemphill Middle School in April 2011 and we implemented an AED in this facility in May 2011!
