Granada High School, Granada, CO

Granada High School already had a team of 15 staff members trained in CPR and AED procedure! With one AED already installed in their main building, they knew the importance of a quick response time and applied to receive a second unit from Kick Start My Heart to serve their home and away athletics and activities.

The school supports 40 athletes ages 14-18 and 45 athletes ages 12-14 competing in high school football, volleyball, basketball, track, baseball, and cheerleading. Additionally, the school supports numerous spectators (newborn to aged 90 and above), adult recreation activities and student activity trips.

Kick Start My Heart received the $500 "Pay It Forward" donation from Granada High School in October 2007 and implemented an AED in this facility shortly afterwards!
