Faith Christian High School, Arvada, CO

Faith Christian High School serves over 350 students and over 1000 athletes use the facility each year, which explains why the school wishes to place the unit within the athletic department.

Raschelle Loudenslager, Fundraising Chair of the FCHS Athletic Booster Club comments on the application form: "The school athletic facilities are used each year by thousands of athletes representing multi-age groups playing multi-sports. Should a medical situation arise requiring the use of an AED unit, the knowledge that we are prepared with a state of the art machine gives assurance to parents, athletes and staff beyond what words can define.

Having a portable unit available for our athletes while playing "away' games in stadiums and gyms across the state not only ensures the safety of our Faith athletes but ensures the safety of athletes we will be facing who may not have access to such a unit should the need arise."

Kick Start My Heart received the $750 "Pay It Forward" donation from Faith Christian High School in August 2009 and we implemented an AED in this facility in April 2010.
