Colorado Springs Christian Schools is a private school with 1500 students in the system, featuring 4 preschools, 3 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 1 high school. The Field House at the high school has the most activity and will be where the AED is implemented directly. The high school and junior high school sports operating from the Field House include football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and wrestling with multiple games/meets a season, plus spectators for each event, and additional band/choir concerts each year.

Over the past several years, the school has experienced adult spectators having medical difficulties and needed to receive 911 treatment. Additionally, they have several students who has family history of heart challenges and feel it is prudent and responsible to be prepared for both their students and adult population. "As a private school system, we work with a limited budget. We try hard to have a school of excellence in every aspect. Kick Start My Heart will help us to work towards this goal by helping out financially. Thank you!"

Kick Start My Heart received the $500 "Pay It Forward" donation from Colorado Springs Christian School in March 2008 and we have our training and implementation session scheduled for August! The AED unit being placed in this facility was donated by Kick Start My Heart partner, ZOLL Data Systems!
