Career Development Center/Olde Columbine High School, Longmont
Date of Placement: Apr 10 2011The Career Development Center serves over 600 high school aged students and 35 staff members. The Olde Columbine High School serves over 120 high school students and 20 staff members. Additionally, the location also provides both a Teen Parenting program with up to 10 infants/babies in the nursery and a Driver's Education program with 2 employees and more visitors.
Having an AED at this site would serve over 800 people of all ages. Having an AED onsite sets a great example for our students, particularly ones in the medical programs, reinforcing the importance of emergency procedures.
Kick Start My Heart received the $750 "Pay It Forward" donation from Career Development Center/Olde Columbine High School, in October 2010 and we implemented an AED in this facility in April 2011!
