A great example of this is shown by the fact that Kick Start My Heart received a $1,000 'Pay If Forward' donation from Girl Scout Troop 2569 who use this facility for their meetings!
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 11-11 is a community center providing many activities at their location for all ages, with over 480 members. Additionally, special events such as weddings and shows can bring in up to 200 people.
Girl Scout Troop 2569 would like to implement an AED in the facility as a thank you to the unit, so that it can be used in an emergency situation. Kick Start My Heart received the $1,000 "Pay It Forward" donation in August 2011 and we look forward to implementing an AED in this facility as soon as possible!
