Partnership with Cherish Our Children International!

Kick Start My Heart are very excited to announce a charitable partnership with Cherish Our Children International regarding further soccer based fundraising projects! The statewide car wash competition (see Documents section of our website for more information) will benefit the Bridges to Peace program which serves 20,000 Moslem, Jewish, and Christian children in 80 communities throughout Israel. The program operates in poverty-stricken areas, and demonstrates significant results.

The children are brought together in mixed teams of Jewish, Moslem, and Christian boys and girls for soccer practice and ultimately a soccer tournament. Emphasis is on teamwork, positive self-image, fair play, and discipline. The children’s passion for soccer is used to get past the religious, ethnic, national, and cultural barriers.

The mission for this project is "Kids helping Kids: contributing to peace through global citizenship, using soccer & the arts to transcend borders". The first prize for the organization raising the most funds for the Bridges to Peace program will be an Automated External Defibrillator implemented in partnership with Kick Start My Heart!
