AED Donation!! Gilead Colorado, Inc.

As a direct result of our recent radio interview with KGNU, Kick Start My Heart today received a wonderful donation of 3 Philips HeartStart AEDs from local company, Gilead Colorado, Inc. in Westminster.

Environmental Health & Safety Manager, Jen Wingard listened to the KGNU interview and chose our foundation as the perfect home for their 3 AED units. The AEDs were in need of a new home due to company plans to relocate their operations to California.

Kick Start My Heart would like to thank Jen and Gilead for contacting us and providing this donation that will make a huge difference to our goals! We will be placing the 3 units at schools and sports facilities who are were previously on our waiting list: 

• Gymnastics Unlimited, Northglenn, CO
• St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Denver, CO
• St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School, Denver, CO

The placements will occur in February 2010 after we have ordered the necessary accessories to bring the units in line with the complete AED package used by Kick Start My Heart.
